AKC Registered OFA Excellent Dam Best of Breed Sire Raised Indoors 8-Week Hold 24-Mo Health Guarantee
The Litter

Raised together, matched one by one.

We don't sell puppies off a numbered list. They're raised as a litter — and we help you find the right one once we know your home.

Yellow Labrador puppy from a Sprague River litter

The puppies are raised together in the house from the day they're born — around Lisa, around the older dogs, around the normal noise of the place. They go home at eight full weeks, having learned what they need to learn from their mother and littermates.

Rather than asking buyers to pick a puppy from a photo, we use the placement conversation to understand your home — energy level, household, kids, other dogs, hunting plans — and then match a puppy to the family. Forty placements and one return suggests it works.

Reservations are accepted by phone with a deposit. The match is made together once we've talked.

Sprague River Lisa Marie — yellow Labrador, dam of the current litter
The Pairing

Lisa × Noble

This litter brings together two strong sides of the pedigree. The dam, Sprague River Lisa Marie, is the working hunting dog at the center of Jim's program — OFA Excellent hips, Normal elbows, fifteen years of careful breeding behind her on this line.

The sire, Thornwoods Designed to Inspire — Noble — is an AKC Best of Breed winner from Thornwood Labradors, an AKC Breeder of Merit kennel in Klamath Falls. His pedigree carries four CHIC-certified grandparents.

How They're Raised

The same care, every litter.

Every puppy from Sprague River has the same start — vet care, indoor upbringing, eight-week hold. Here's what that means.

Six-week vet check

Each puppy has been examined by Jim's veterinarian at six weeks. Health, weight, and structure all confirmed before any reservations are accepted.

First shots given

The first round of puppy vaccinations has been administered as part of the six-week vet visit. Records will travel with the puppy to its new home.

Deworming complete

Routine deworming protocols have been completed. Puppies are clear of common parasites and ready for the transition.

Dewclaws removed

Front dewclaws were removed by the veterinarian at the appropriate age. A small but important step that's standard in our program.

Raised in the house

This litter has lived indoors with the pack from day one. They've heard doors, voices, kitchens, and the sounds of a working home.

Held to eight weeks

Per breed best practice, puppies stay with their dam and littermates until eight weeks. No earlier — those last two weeks are critical for socialization.

Payment plans available

If a puppy is the right fit but the price is a stretch, call and talk to Jim. He'd rather place a dog with the right family than hold out for top dollar — we can set up a payment schedule that works for both sides. Deposit reserves your puppy; the balance can be split.

A deposit is required to reserve a puppy. Payment by cash, Venmo, or Zelle. Final pricing, registration type, and payment terms are confirmed during the buyer screening conversation.
